This Rose is delightful and charismatic. The gorgeous nose of strawberry jam, kiwi, candied watermelon, hint of cotton candy and tangy cherry perfectly compliment the beautifully dry and balanced body. "Does this leap out of the glass, or what?!" - John Pepe
With the fourth year of the drought rolling in, the bloom came early. Less fruit was the common theme in 2015 across Sonoma County, though what the crops did produce were noteworthy grapes full of flavor and excellence. The Syrah, a Tablas Creek clone and the Zinfandel, a Deaver clone, together find a perfect balance of crisp, ripe fruit and subtle cotton candy. Set in the eastern ridge of Dry Creek Valley this vineyard has time and time again provided a phenomenal crop.
Production Notes
